Fear seems to be spreading on Wall Street, and there is now much public and private fretting in the business community that the economic troubles have only just begun. Despite the government's efforts to shore up the economy, investors remain wary, and values are fluctuating more wildly. A few months ago, I predicted a possible economic collapse in September or October. Ultimately, you can't out-think the market. You might delay it, you might mediate certain effects, but there is no free lunch. The reality of things still hasn't quite hit, though. Wait another month.
Amid all of this, the media continues to obsess about Sarah Palin. After her ABC interview, bits of which are currently four of the top twelve videos on Youtube. We've now learned that she's pretty clueless--to the point of absurdity.
